Save the Date Cards
If your wedding is during the summer or on/near a holiday you may want to send Save the Date cards in advance - these ensure that your guests keep the date of your wedding free without you having to send invites out too far in advance. Save the Date cards come in a variety of formats - magnets, business card style, tags etc.
Wedding Invitations
You will need 1 per household and are traditionally sent by the hosts of the day. They are usually sent up to 10 weeks before your wedding.You may want to include an RSVP by date to enable you to finalise the catering or seating arrangements in plenty of time.
Evening Invitations
Are used to invite guests that are invited to the Evening recepition only. They are normally sent out at the same time as the Wedding Invitations.
Reply Cards Can be sent out with the invitations to allow a quick response from your guests and are also supplied with envelopes printed with your return address.
Order of Service These inform your guests of the order of the service. They are usually distributed to guests by the Ushers as they enter the venue. You will need 1 per couple and one each for the bridal party. Your Minister should check the contents prior to printing/ordering.
Place Cards These are placed on tables at the reception to inform guests of the seating arrangements. Some venues provide standard place cards or you can provide them yourself.
Thank You Cards Should be sent to your guests to thank them for the gifts received. It is also nice to give your wedding party, or anyone else who has played a part in your special day, thank you cards too .
It is also possible to get co-ordinating Table Plans, Guest Books, Photo Albums and Favours.
